Inspired by his personal collection of Thai swords and his extensive training in the Thai Martial Arts,Lynn Thompson developed his interpretation of a Thai sword in our Machete format. Lynn has been practising Thai Martial Arts since the 1980s, studying under various instructors before finding his current trainer, Ron Balicki, with whom he has trained for over 13 years. 

After four years of development and refinement, the Thai Machete was born. This beautifully balanced blade, inspired by traditional Thai swords, features a sharp tip and a keen cutting edge. While typically used in pairs during traditional Thai fighting arts, the Thai Machete is versatile enough to be wielded with one or two hands. Its wide blade and curved edge make it an excellent tool for cutting through grass, vines, and light foliage.

Made from 1055 Carbon Steel, the Thai Machete is as tough and durable as the other popular blades in our Machete line-up. Its polypropylene handle provides a traditional look and a flattened oval grip that won't slip from your hand. The steel-reinforced guard offers excellent hand protection.
