Member Terms of Service (MTOS) – Gig Posters & Independent Commission Agents Following the Supreme Court’s November 2025 ruling that Uber drivers are employees, we have made our position crystal clear: NZMarketplace is strictly a listing and connection platform. Anyone who posts a gig, article, or classified item does so as an Independent Commission Agent (ICA) and is fully responsible for their own tax, GST, and any employment-related obligations. We do not employ you, direct you, or take responsibility for payments between members.
